Professional Development Workshops
Summer
Each year, DMTI offers summer workshops for teachers to learn how students come to understand mathematics through modeling and language. These multiple day workshops are broken down into different grade levels and rotate through concepts on a three-year cycle:
- Number Topics
- Measurement and Geometry
- Data Analysis: Probability and Statistics
School Year
Our team can provide a variety of professional development opportunities to meet your math needs. We bring many years of classroom experience at a variety of grade levels to create engaging workshop experiences.
In regards to the training: it was fabulous! Most PD is quite frankly dull and quickly forgotten. Your sessions will be used during my school year and the STEAM corner added about five new games.

This class was a blast and I learned so much! We love the classes and are really excited to go back into the classroom and apply what we learned. Thank you all so much for everything you do to make a difference in the field of mathematics for students and teachers. Before taking DMTI, math was my least favorite subject to teach. Now, it is most definitely my favorite! I don't ever want the classes to end. I am already looking forward to this summer!
